[ 01 / CAPABILITIES ] What we research

Six disciplines.
One disposable airframe.

Celluwing is a focused R&D firm. Every program advances a single thesis — that the next generation of attritable cardboard UAVs will be built from cellulose.

01

Cellulose Airframe Engineering

High-strength corrugated structures with water-resistant coatings — aerospace performance from a recyclable substrate.

02

Low-Observable Design

Geometry and materials tuned for minimal radar signature and a silent acoustic profile in the field.

03

Autonomous Flight & Mission Systems

GPS-waypoint navigation, pre-programmed and real-time mission control, EO/IR payload integration.

04

Flat-Pack Manufacturing

Designs that ship flat and assemble in under two minutes — engineered for mass production and rapid scale.

05

ISR Payload Integration

Modular nose and payload bays for electro-optical and infrared sensors up to 200 g.

06

Field Testing & Aerodynamics

Iterative flight-test programs validating endurance, range and recovery across real terrain.

[ 02 / RESEARCH PLATFORM ] In development

CORVO™ Cardboard Reconnaissance UAV

Our lead research platform: a low-cost, disposable cardboard reconnaissance plane in active R&D, built from high-strength corrugated cardboard for covert operations and rapid deployment. Not yet in production.

CORVO™ — R&D PROTOTYPE
CORVO™ — R&D PROTOTYPE CELLULOSE AIRFRAME

Designed to flat-pack, carry in a backpack, and assemble in < 2 min.

CORVO is engineered to pack as a flat kit of roughly 1.6 kg and assemble by hand — fold the fuselage, insert the wings, lock the tail, connect power. Hand-launched, silent electric propulsion, recoverable or fully expendable. Targets under active flight-test in our R&D program.

[ 03 / THESIS ] Why cardboard

The cheapest
aircraft wins.

Modern conflict and disaster response demand sensors in the air at scale. Conventional UAVs are too expensive to lose. Celluwing inverts the equation: a cardboard plane so cheap and so recyclable that losing it is the plan.

A fraction of the cost of comparable composite UAVs

Radically low cost

Cellulose airframes cost a fraction of composite UAVs — making attrition a strategy, not a setback. Built for mass deployment.

Low observable

Cardboard and electric propulsion yield a minimal radar signature and a near-silent acoustic profile.

Fully recyclable

Every airframe is recyclable and biodegradable — environmentally responsible, with no battlefield debris signature.

Minimal logistics

Flat-packed kits ship dense, store indefinitely and deploy from a backpack — collapsing the supply chain.

[ 04 / OPERATIONS ] Planned

A dedicated research
center in Slovakia.

STATUS: PLANNED — SLOVAKIA

Celluwing is planning to open a dedicated research center in Slovakia — central to European airspace, with the open terrain and regulatory environment ideal for sustained UAV development.

The center would house airframe prototyping, environmental testing and a dedicated flight-test range, anchoring our European R&D presence and creating a hub for cellulose-airframe innovation.

Flight-test range Open-terrain corridors for endurance, range and recovery trials
Prototyping lab Rapid airframe iteration and water-resistant coating R&D
Environmental testing Weather, humidity and structural validation
